hi, i’m Olivia. i’m so happy that you’re here.

I am a dog obsessed, hopelessly sarcastic, self-proclaimed foodie and a psychotherapist. My approach to counseling is rooted in relational psychoanalytic work and engages people as their whole selves. I attend to your past experiences as well as what is happening in the room. This includes what is coming up in your thoughts, feelings, and body. It also means paying attention to the quality of our connection within our roles as counselor and patient. I approach all my work with an attention to social and cultural context. We can explore who you are and where you come from– your personal circumstances, identities, values and experiences and how you have been impacted by experiences throughout your life. I’ve worked with individuals from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. I am LGTBQ affirming and a sex positive therapist.

I honor the courage and vulnerability it takes to ask for help, to look at our wounds, to embrace the messy parts of our lives. I consider it a privilege to hold space for meaningful change and healing with my patients, and I would love to support you in your process.

As a provisionally licensed counselor I am currently affiliated with GoodMatter Counseling and supervised by Raelyn Koop, LPC.

my areas of focus

  • identity and self awareness

Our relationship with ourselves is one of the most important ones we will ever cultivate, it can also be the most difficult one to wrestle with. We often find ourselves in patterns that no longer serve us which can feel impossible to break free from.

  • sexuality and intimacy

Sexuality is a core aspect of the human experience, yet it is often a topic clouded in shame and secrecy. I believe that all folks should have space to embody, explore and learn about their sexuality and gender without judgment or shame. This can include gender identity, low sex-desire, performance issues, non-monogamy, etc.

  • womens' issues

The issues that women experience in life are unique and I believe should be approached as such. This includes motherhood, perinatal struggles such as postpartum anxiety and depression, navigating friendships and relationships, building your career, finding your value, etc,.

In addition to the topics listed above I also work with religious wounding, general anxiety and depression, personality disorders, trauma, and relationship struggles.

fees

I offer 50 min sessions at a rate of $130.

I am an out-of-network provider and do not directly bill insurance for treatment. Some benefits of paying privately include more privacy and more freedom in our work together. I am happy to provide a superbill which you can turn into your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

I reserve a select number of spots in my schedule to offer sliding scale fees, and when possible I will work with you to find a way for therapy to be financially sustainable. This option can be discussed in our free initial consultation call.
